Removing WP comments from posts
The ability for your website visitors to leave comments on your WordPress powered site can be managed easily and quickly through your WP administration dashboard.
You can optionally turn off all comments throughout your site by going to your WP dashboard -> Settings -> Discussion, but this tutorial will deal with disabling comments on a per post/page basis.
You can disable, than later enable the ability for your visitors to leave comments at any time, without losing any of the existing comments left on any given post.
