Widgets are a very simple and flexible way to add content areas to your website, without having to know anything about webdesign or programming.
Widgets are integrated into WordPress, and used by MyBandTheme on the homepage (3 widgetized boxes below the quote box), and on every content pages’ sidebar.
WordPress already comes with a number of pre-installed widgets, and MyBandTheme adds 2 more custom widgets to your arsenal. But of course, if you want more, you can download a widget for basically anything over at WordPress.org.
