As you can see, Bluehost is more or less in-line with their guarantee of 99.9% uptime. They did have a bad year back in 2008 with only 99.1% uptime, but that has not recurred ever since.

All in all, the average uptime for Bluehost has been 99.688% since 2007. Not bad, but not quite up to par with the findings of our HostGator.com’s uptime/downtime test.
